Can I open an EDB file in Outlook directly?

No. Outlook cannot mount a server-side Exchange .edb database. Use the program to convert it to a .pst client data file and read your mail in Outlook.

A badly damaged .edb may exceed what an offline reader can handle. The program converts the database; repairing corrupt pages requires a separate repair job.
