❓ My MySQL server won't start at all. Can this tool still recover my data?

Yes. The program works directly with the raw database files (.ibd, .frm, .MYD, .MYI) on disk. It does not need a running MySQL instance. Point it at the data directory, and it will scan and extract whatever is still readable.

❓ Which MySQL and MariaDB versions are supported?

MySQL 5.4 through 9.x and MariaDB 10.x/11.x. Both InnoDB and MyISAM storage engines are covered.

❓ I see error 1194 (table marked as crashed). Should I try REPAIR TABLE first or go straight to recovery software?

Running REPAIR TABLE is worth a try if the server starts. When the repair fails or the server refuses to start, use recovery software on the underlying .MYD/.MYI files. The program reads them at the byte level, bypassing MySQL entirely.

❓ How long does a typical scan take?

It depends on the total size of the database files and the degree of damage. A 2 GB database on an SSD usually finishes in a few minutes. Larger or heavily fragmented databases take longer, but you can preview partial results while the scan is still running.
